家电行业用彩涂板分为贴膜板和预涂彩板两大类，贴膜板主要有VCM板（贴PVC膜的板）和ECM板（贴PET膜的板）。VCM板是在钢板预处理后涂上胶黏剂后，在一定温度下层压PVC膜而成，由于PVC膜中含有氯和增塑剂而存在环保问题，出口受到限制；ECM板则是在钢板预处理后辊涂一定厚度的涂层，高温烘烤固化后，迅速层压PET膜制备而成，PET膜的质量好坏、膜与涂层的附着力及底漆与基材的附着力对ECM板的质量都有影响。ECM板的涂层可以是单涂层、双涂层或者三涂层，较常用的是有底漆和面漆的双涂层；单涂层贴膜底漆必须既有较好的柔韧性，又有优良的附着力；三涂层贴膜板是将中涂、面漆及PET膜的效果结合起来，得到特殊效果的贴膜板，目前市场生产量还不是很大。

The coating of ECM plate can be single coating, double coating or three coating, double coating must have good flexibility and excellent adhesion; three coating plate is the effect of medium coating, top coat and PET film to get special effect, the current market production is not very large.

家电品种繁多，PCM板的应用需要满足不同种类家电的性能要求。比如洗衣机需要优异的耐盐雾性、耐湿热性和耐碱性；而微波炉对柔韧性要求很高，因为在加工过程中某些部位需要对折；而空调室外机则因为使用环境的原因对耐候性有一定的要求，所以在配方设计时，通过对提供不同特性的组份进行调配，得到想要的性能。

PCM板底漆涂料主要组份包括中高分子量的聚酯树脂、特制改性树脂、氨基树脂、聚氨酯树脂及环保型防腐颜料组成。该体系的特点是与面漆的配套性好，柔韧性与附着力综合性能优异，有较好的防腐蚀性能，通过各组分调配，该底漆配套面漆的耐中性盐雾可以达到360小时。

The main components of PCM plate primer coating include medium and high molecular weight polyester resin, specially modified resin, amino resin, polyurethane resin and eco-friendly preservative pigment. The system is characterized by good compatibility with the finish, excellent flexibility and adhesion, and good corrosion resistance. Through the deployment of each component, the neutral salt spray of the primer can reach 360 hours.

家电板的厚度规格相对集中，大多使用0.40~0.80mm厚的产品。但大型家电用材的宽度比较特别，宽度一般在500~700mm，必须加工时套裁来实现。厚度偏差一般要求负公差，公差范围较小，特别要求同板厚度差较小，长度、宽度偏差一般要求正公差。
